Updating Classrooms in Camambugan
Our club's impact is not limited to our local community. We partner globally in order to help effect change. We did just that in partnership with Rotary International and the Iloilo City Rotary, who helped us to bring modern technology and renewable energy to a rural school in the town of Camambugan, situated outside Iloilo in the Philippines.
We are very proud of the work our club was able to accomplish, and this project, which helped students in this rural community, is already serving as a model for others.
Every student deserves access to the technology that will help them to acheive success in the 21st century, regardless of where they were born. We are glad to have helped acheive this for one community, and we hope that Rotary can be a key player in acheiving this globally.
Whether you want to work here at home or in a place faraway, Rotary is a path to creating the lasting impact you would like to see.
